Scottish Country Dancing lessons start on Monday, 29 February at All Saints Church, Milan
Beginners are very welcome. Couples get a discount. For some mysterious reason, Scottish Country Dancing suffers a lack of men – a worldwide phenomenon. So willing men will be encouraged in every way possible. Well, almost…
Bear in mind that Scottish Country Dancing is considered an excellent form of exercise, both physically and mentally, which means that it is suitable for people of all ages (let’s say 8-80). It also helps keep weight under control, so useful if you’re worried about that prova costume next summer. It also gives you an alternative social life. And we are starting to travel as a group of dancers to reel nights and ceilidhs elsewhere: Edinburgh last year, with London, Florence, Turin and maybe Lyon on the horizon for this year. Above all, it’s a lot of fun.
Let John Murphy know if you are interested.
PS For those of you in the Como/Varese/Brianza area, another SCD course will be starting soon in Como and/or Cadorago. You will receive notice from Nando/Oro di Scozia if you are already on his list. If you are not, let me know and I’ll make sure you get the information.
